The way we typically handle this is with svn log of the branch. If you go to the branch, then type. svn log --stop-on-copy you'll get a list of every commit message for that branch, back to when the branch was formed. The stop-on-copy flag tells svn not to continue to before the branch was formed. This basic syntax—svn merge URL—tells Subversion to merge all recent changes from the URL to the current working directory (which is typically the root of your working copy). Also notice that we're using the caret ( ^ ) syntax [24] to avoid having to type out the entire /trunk URL.
